The CEV Continental Beach Volleyball Cup, broadcast to 55 countries via tiivii, an automatic television production system

  • cinfo, a leading Spanish company in the development of products based on Artificial Intelligence and video technologies, broadcast live the Phase II of the CEV Continental Beach Volleyball Cup held in Madrid in collaboration with the Madrid Volleyball Federation (FMV)
  • tiivii, a product designed for content generation and audiovisual production of events in a fully automated way through cameras governed by artificial intelligence, broadcast and produced the events held from 6 to 9 May at the Puerta de Hierro Sports Park

cinfo, a leading Spanish company in the development of products based on Artificial Intelligence, video technologies and live video, broadcast the events that took place on the occasion of the CEV Continental Cup Beach Volleyball held from 6 to 9 May at the Puerta de Hierro Sports Park in Madrid.

Thanks to the agreement with the Madrid Volleyball Federation (FMV) by which it became the official technology provider of the competition, cinfo broadcast Phase II of the championship via streaming and remotely to the 55 participating countries through the installation and use of tiivii, an automatic production system, at the sports venue.

This championship was the first beach volleyball event to be broadcast live in Europe using automatic production technology that allows an event to be broadcasted and produced without the need to physically move personnel to the site where it is taking place.
tiivii is a product designed for content generation and audiovisual production of events in a fully automated or hybrid way thanks to its remote production tools, allowing the creation of a live TV channel from scratch and in a quick and easy way through the internet or any video platform, either its own or third party. The system is capable of following the action of each player autonomously and independently as each camera is governed by artificial intelligence agents, as well as incorporating advanced features such as voiceovers, graphics and advertising, scoreboards, real-time replays and 180-degree vision for virtual reality glasses.

For Antonio Rodríguez del Corral, CEO of cinfo, “the use of tiivii provides the FMV with a versatile, high-tech tool that can be used in any type of event that the federation organises thanks to the scalability and high level of customisation of the system”.

The CEV Continental Cup was introduced in 2010 as a qualification system for the Olympic Games for all the national federations of the world, running in parallel in each of the 5 continents.
